Non Discrimination Policy

Access Music Education is committed to equal opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law, in any of its activities or operations.

This policy applies to all areas of organizational activity, including: the recruitment, compensation, and termination of instructors; the selection and engagement of volunteers and contractors; the delivery of programs, services, and benefits to students; and membership in and governance by the Board of Directors.

Access Music Education is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all instructors, volunteers, contractors, students, and Board members. We are committed to preventing discrimination and harassment before they occur and will not tolerate them when they do.

We will take prompt corrective action in response to any substantiated

complaint. Retaliation against any person who reports a concern in good faith, participates in an investigation, or opposes discrimination or harassment is prohibited and will itself be treated as a violation of this policy.

Questions, concerns, or complaints regarding this policy should be directed to the Executive Director of Access Music Education.
